30 families live in the Battambang garbage dump, recycling plastic and metal received emergency support from Anatha project of KBO. Due to the current situation of alarm by the pandemic of Covid-19, the recycling companies have stopped buying material and these families have been left without their only income. A request for aid was then issued to NGOs, and our Anatha team organized an activity for this group. April 08th, 2020, they went to the garbage dump and distributed rice, non-perishable food, and hygiene materials to each of the families.
